Agapanthus in Dublin Embroidery Purple and Green Flower 6 inch hoop finished piece

This embroidery was inspired by the plants growing in a beautiful garden in Dublin.  After a day full of beauty, my mom and I rested beside this plant and ate a delectable caramel square-- a common and wonderful dessert in Ireland. 

Hoop is 6 inches wide, made of rounded-edge pale wood. Stitched on a lovely linen/cotton blend off white fabric.
